Our Hericium erinaceus is cultivated in clean, controlled environments that replicate the mushroom’s natural woodland conditions — using fresh air exchange, natural humidity cycles, and filtered light.

We source only from certified organic farms that prioritise soil health, non-toxic substrates, and sustainable cultivation practices. Our growers avoid synthetic pesticides, chemical fertilisers, and genetic modification. Each crop is harvested at peak maturity, when the fruiting body is at its most bioactive.

To ensure purity and performance, every batch undergoes independent third-party testing. This includes screening for heavy metals, pesticide residue, microbial contaminants, and verification of active compounds such as beta-glucans. Where is your Turkey Tail grown?

From each mushrooms own spiritual homeland. China, Siberia, and New Zealand. Our chaga is grown in Siberia, pekepeke-kiore (Hericium novae-zelandiae) is grown in New Zealand, reishi is grown in the Anhui Province, lions mane in the Zhejiang Province and cordyceps militaris in the Fujian Province. Sourcing mushrooms from their native homeland is important to us, and with centuries of use in Traditional Chinese Medicine, these functional mushrooms are reaching new levels of global awareness and respect.

Because China has a bad rep, we only source from certified organic growers and undertake 3rd party testing of all products here in NZ. These tests are conducted by Hill Laboratories and Massey University and include heavy metal testing, pesticide residue, testing for microbials and also for active compounds (beta-d-glucans). With quality control methods implemented, and each batch tested, we are pleased to offer you potent mushroom extracts that are free from contaminants and agricultural chemicals.
